Common Types of Payment Plans for Colorado Cases
If you are being charged with a criminal case, most law firms in Colorado Springs will charge a retainer upfront, which is billed against at their hourly rate to cover all costs related to the case throughout the Pre-Trial and Jury Trial process. The Law Offices of Clifton Black charges a flat fee for most criminal cases that covers the entire Pre-Trial process and a separate, hourly trial fee. We understand that very few cases go to trial and feel that charging for it upfront just isn’t fair. Each case is unique – a one size fits all fee structure may not fit your case.
Our firm may offer a payment plan that requires ⅔ of the flat fee down with the remainder of the balance to be paid in full within three months. While we still this payment plan may only be extended to qualified clients, we are happy to announce an out-of-office financing option! Affirm financing allows qualified clients to retain our firm with little to no money down, extended payment plans of their choosing, and more.
Like most firms, our family law clients are billed at an hourly rate and require an initial retainer upfront. Typically a family law retainer will range from $3,500 – $7,500 depending on the fact of the case. We also offer military discounts for all those who have served.
