Cheline Schroeder, Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Clifton Black, PC, is an experienced criminal defense attorney who has represented hundreds of people accused of crimes in Colorado and the District of Columbia. In her several years of practicing both at the Colorado State Public Defender Office and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, Cheline has handled cases at every level ranging from traffic all the way up to first-degree murder and sex assaults. She comes to the Law Offices of Clifton Black with a wide array of experience to handle any type of criminal case.
Cheline prides herself on her ability to negotiate favorable outcomes for her clients through heavy litigation. She is motivated by being in the courtroom and advocating zealously for those who are navigating a very complicated and often stressful court system. She has conducted over 20 jury trials ranging from misdemeanor to felony matters and countless preliminary hearings, motions hearings, and revocation hearings. She is not afraid to hold the State to its burden when her client’s liberty is on the line.

Cheline is proudly from Tacoma, Washington where she enjoys the beautiful Puget Sound and Mount Rainier while spending time with her loved ones. In her free time, she loves spending time with her dog, “Papa”, hanging out with friends, going to concerts, and doing anything that makes her laugh.
