Biography
Plaintiff Attorney Adam Smestad, Of Counsel, at the Law Offices of Clifton Black, PC, practices Personal Injury in Colorado and Illinois. As a seasoned litigator and master negotiator, Adam aggressively advocates on behalf of his clients to defend their right to be made whole after an accident. Upon his admission to the Illinois Bar Association in 2010, Adam defended homeowners at the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services as a foreclosure defense attorney. Defending the rights of clients quickly became Adam’s passion and he joined a Chicago law firm as a personal injury litigation attorney, representing injured plaintiffs in court, arbitration, negotiating settlements, and in trial before judges and juries, helping his clients obtain millions of dollars in settlements and jury verdicts.
As a Plaintiff’s Attorney, Adam represents clients in the areas of Personal Injury including: motor vehicle accidents, defective and dangerous products, real estate disputes, contract disputes, premises liability matters, brain injury, dog bites, workplace injuries, and more. Adam takes pride in representing his clients’ interest in obtaining compensation for their injuries and is dedicated to advocating on their behalf until they receive justice and are fairly compensated. He believes in treating every client with respect and understands the importance of communicating the litigation process to his clients.
When Adam isn’t defending the rights of his clients he enjoys writing and producing films, hiking, biking, weightlifting, running, baseball, snowboarding/skiing, watching movies and live music.
