Clifton L. Black, Attorney at Law
About Clifton Black
I am a long-time Colorado Springs resident, having grown up here, attended Mitchell High School, and both of our local colleges.
As a Colorado criminal defense lawyer, I have dedicated my career to helping those charged with criminal violations since 2000. My passion is helping those being prosecuted by the government, so I focus my practice exclusively in Colorado criminal defense, in El Paso County (Colorado Springs, etc), Teller County (Cripple Creek & Woodland Park), Pueblo County, and Douglas County (Castle Rock and South Denver).
When individuals are charged with criminal violations, they need to ensure that they receive exceptional legal representation from a veteran Colorado ciminal defense attorney. Far too often, a person without an experienced lawyer will unknowingly waive important legal rights immediately after arrest. It is important to talk to a criminal defense lawyer immediately, rather than waiting until it's too late, then realizing you need a lawyer.
And you need a criminal defense lawyer who knows the system, the judges, and the prosecutors, not a "jack-of-all-trades" who happens to dabble in criminal defense as one of many practice areas. I am exclusively a Colorado criminal defense lawyer, practicing as part of a respected Colorado Springs law firm, Black & Graham. Colorado criminal defense is all I do. Period.
